The Steering Committee comprises leaders from anchor institutions that have signed the LAIN charter. They provide leadership and steer the agenda of the anchors programme.

The Procurement working group is focused on delivering solutions which enable anchor institutions to buy more goods and services from small, diverse-owned businesses and social enterprises in London.

The Hiring and Skills working group is focused on supporting more Londoners from underrepresented backgrounds into good work, and becoming more representative of London’s communities at all levels of their organisations.

The Mentoring Young People working group is focused on improving life chances and opportunities for disadvantaged young Londoners by placing them into quality mentoring and youth activities.

The Placed Based working group ensures that city-wide strategies are rooted in the local, community fabric of London and is supporting more local anchor institution networks to start up and develop.

The Green New Deal working group is leading London’s net zero efforts and driving down the city’s carbon emissions by decarbonising their estates, fleet and deliveries.
